You don't need an app, merely sign into Amazon Prime in your browser (I used Border only now) and choose the video you lot want to play. It will starting time playing.

Unfortunately information technology doesn't work well when yous're in aeroplane mode on an aeroplane. You need to be able to download the video and you therefore demand the prime number app. I heard information technology was because of of digital rights management and that information technology was Amazon's brake 😠

They had an app only I don't know where it went. Maybe it's being upgraded. I'd keep checking the MS Store app.
Since Amazon is responsive to Prime members, I'd let them know nigh it, too. I volition do the same.

I am well enlightened that you can download on Android and Apple IOS and non on Windows, which is why I contacted you in the offset place. Yous still haven't given a clear reason why this is isn't available. I pay a lot of money each year for Prime and I am annoyed and frustrated by this restriction.
Given Prime number deliveries are at present not guaranteed side by side day, please explain why I should go on to pay you lot a hefty yearly fee that does not grant me access to all the features because I do not use Apple or Samsung devices?
I look more than from one of the world'south largest companies quite frankly.

What a load of crap...this is a Microsoft issue and Non AN AMAZON issue. "Microsoft" does non allow or offer the "Amazon Prime Video" app in your "Microsoft app store".
Yous can get this app on "Always" device offered "except" a windows OS pc/laptop/telephone.
To clarify what the OP was request is to have the app so y'all can "download" the movies from Amazon directly to their device and so they can lookout them when traveling and don't take access to WIFI (in and airplane). We all know you can login to Amazon thru a browser and watch a video but it does ZERO good when yous are traveling in a plane or no access to wifi/data.
I purchased my Lenovo X1 carbon laptop for travel and found out this was not available on "Microsoft"...believe me when I say I will "NEVER" buy a computer with a Microsoft OS over again...specially in this day and age of streaming services of which you don't permit. Of course I see I tin can download Netflix directly from the Microsoft store and do exactly what the OP is trying to practice just of course no "amazon prime video app"
Don't get me started on all the "Google apps" y'all don't offer. There is a reason people did not purchase the windows phone and sooner rather and so later no ane will want a PC with Windows.
